Piero Lissoni takes his own iconic minimalism to the extreme by introducing Japanese elements in the Minimo table.
Solidity and equilibrium come together in a surprisingly graceful composition carved out of sharp angles, oblique lines and solid wood. Indeed composition is the crucial element in this elegant and attractive table. The horizontal hemlock solid wood beam lies on four solid wood slanted legs. These are geometric elements that poetically correct the rigid horizontal nature of the table. The legs serve, of course a much more tangible function by giving stability and solidity to the table as a whole, making it a very functional unit.
