Enigmi, a collection of wool and linen carpets designed by Elisa Ossino, and exclusively produced for Porro by the Swedish Kasthall brand, which has placed at Porro’s disposal its expertise in the production of carpets which are a fusion of artisanal craftsmanship, design, and the finest natural materials.
Available in rectangular and round shapes and in a color palette ranging from beige to pearl grey, these prized carpets, hand woven on a loom or hand tufted, recall the visual project rigor which characterizes Porro’s style.
The contrasting graphical elements, in black or white, evoke the great tradition of the Berber master artisans, reread in a contemporary key through minimal geometric patterns.
Geometrical abstraction, monochromes, metaphysical and surrealist references, typical of Elisa’s imagination, are recur in the Enigmi line of carpets which gives birth to a coherent and allusive relationship between space, delimited by their strong stroke, light, and the Porro systems and collections that rest on it.
