Scacco coffee table was designed by Pier Luigi Frighetto for Pianca with a solid ash wood frame painted in black ash. Top available in matt or glossy lacquered glass or linoleum.
In the 33 cm high coffee table version, the linoleum top features a screen-printed chessboard.
Iconic and with a bold geometric design, the Scacco coffee table immediately brings to mind the image of a chess piece. The conical base supports a table top with a wavy profile, designed to accommodate a recessed top, in stark contrast to the solid wood structure in terms of both material and colour.
A groove in the lower part of the top makes it easy to grip, making the coffee table easy to manoeuvre and ideal for changing the configuration of rooms.
