Alunna chair is designed by Emilio Nanni for Pianca with a tubular metal frame in a metal or lacquered finish. The shell is made of curved beech plywood padded with polyurethane foam and covered in leather or fabric with double-needle stitching. On request, the upper part of the backrest can be finished in a different color or covering.
Available in versions with or without armrests.
Alunna chair embodies Emilio Nanni's design approach: a design that starts from the idea of the segment as an essential structural element. The entire chair revolves around this principle, which translates into a tubular base with an intertwined design, light to the eye but technically sophisticated. The four legs connect fluidly, recalling the language of the Maestro table without replicating its formal radicalism.
The upholstered seat creates a striking contrast with the metal structure, balancing softness and rigour. The visible stitching and the possibility of playing with two shades of upholstery give the chair a bold and immediately recognisable character.
Alunna is designed to fit naturally into any home and, thanks to its elegant and understated presence, is also suitable for professional contexts.
