Celebrating Gio Ponti

Today, November 18th, we celebrate the 131 years since the birth of one of the great masters of Italian design: Gio Ponti.

Every year, the company Molteni&C, celebrates this anniversary with special events and publications such as the article "Gio Ponti: A way of life" inside the M Magazine november issue. 

Since 2012, Molteni&C has collaborated with the Gio Ponti Archive and the Ponti heirs to remake the most iconic pieces designed by the Milanese architect to furnish his own family flat, other private homes or special projects.

The designer never subscribed to a single style, but instead worked responsively to changing ideas, techniques and capabilities. He completed a huge amount of work, ranging from a simple door handle to the Pirelli skyscraper, a symbol of modern Milan, and he has contributed to the renewal of the Italian production of Italian production of high-level furniture and objects.  

Molteni&c with the Heritage collection - Gio Ponti has dedicated a real tribute to one of the most famous Italian architects of the twentieth century.
