On Thursday, November 16, in the spaces of Superstudio designer in via Tortona, Milan, in front of more than 1300 guests from around the world, the winners of the eighth edition of the Archiproducts Design Awards were announced.
The winners were selected by a diverse and transdisciplinary jury; the expertise of the members ranges from architecture to art, including photography, illustration, collecting, and creative direction.
For the fifth consecutive year, the ADA winners received a sculptural object as a prize, signed by MUT design, in the special DeDarié finish, a gentle bronze hue imprinted on De Castelli metal. The collaboration with Salvatori was also confirmed, who created, on the project by Michael Anastassiades, the monolith in Gray Versilia marble used to award the winning designers.
A absolute novelty of this edition is the Sustainability Award - given to brands that have distinguished themselves by following the principles of the circular economy and sustainable design - designed by the AMDL CIRCLE studio of Michele De Lucchi and made by Riva 1920 in fragrant Cedar wood from Lebanon.
Furthermore, for the first time, the Designer of the Year was proclaimed. This title was won by Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto, the two faces of Studiopepe, winners of the 2023 ADA edition with seven products.
