Jeanne coffee table is designed by Christophe Delcourt for Molteni&C, featuring a solid ash frame with a stained finish; upper top crafted from stone with a water‑repellent, stain‑resistant treatment, and lower top is made of medium‑density particleboard with a glossy lacquered finish. Jeanne coffee table stems from an essential architectural gesture, in which the base becomes the fulcrum of a refined balance between solid forms and suspended elements. The two overlapping tops, separated by a thin metal strip, create a delicate interplay of rhythm, light and shadow, lending lightness to the structure.
Each element interacts with the other in a harmonious system of joints and proportions, where solidity and lightness coexist with natural elegance. Also conceived as a connecting element for the Edmond sofa system, Jeanne expands the possibilities of use, transforming function into a fluid and poetic gesture.
