Description

The D.357.2 bookcase designed by Gio Ponti and riedited by Molteni&C. has been designed in 1956-1957 for Ponti’s house on via Dezza in Milan. It is made from shaped multi-layered material with elm veneer, partly with natural transparent fi nish, partly hand-painted in white. It is available in the versions with or without applied mirror.

Molteni&C renews the attention to the architecture and design masters, with a riedition project of furniture designed by Gio Ponti. A collection, some produced for private homes, some for small series, riedited after a long path of research, selection and prototype studies, thanks to the cooperation and the agreement with Ponti's heirs. An operation that respects the original projects adopting new materials, new technologies, and new functional solutions. Great prestige and history for these pieces that coexist with contemporary pieces in today's homes.
