Sumo sofa is designed by Piero Lissoni for Living Divani with supporting frame in 30x30 mm "calendared" tubular steel with epoxy powder coating, sprung with coated rubber elastic straps, padded in polyurethane foam covered in 100% polyether thermally bonded onto a polyamide velveteen backing and a felt pad to protect the seat cushion, to which it is fixed a 10 mm thick emptied HPL panel veneered and edged with Canaletto walnut “rigatino”. Armrest and backrest structure in double-panelled poplar and pine with padding in differentiated density polyurethane foam, covered with a mat in prewashed and sterilized goose down, stitched into separate compartments. Seat cushion in differentiated density polyurethane foam, covered with acrylic fibre layers. Fabric or leather upholstery, both fully removable by zippers and Velcro fastenings.
Tubular steel bracket Ø25mm, with gunmetal grey colour epoxy powder coating. Floor support guaranteed by PVC supports with interchangeable feet (in black PVC or felt) depending on the floor.
The model with one or without armrests can be completed with a coffee table in wood or marble, screwed to the supporting frame through a tubular steel support.
