Voltige armchair is designed by Didier Gomez for Ligne Roset, revisiting the wing chair, first seen around 1720.
The designer retains the padded back, the cushioned seat and the low set-back armrests. The armrests, which are bent into a concave curve, bring a note of softness which contrasts with the taut lines of the structure and cushion.
Structure in panels of particleboard clad in polyurethane foam and polyester quilting.
Matt black or matt white lacquered ‘corner’ steel feet.
The comfort is guaranteed by the suspension of seat via steel frame with elastic webbing, mounted across the depth. Individual back suspension with horizontal elastic webbing.
Seat cushion in high resilience polyurethane multi-density Bultex foam, dominant density, clad in flexible Bultex foam and polyester quilting.
Integral back cushion in multi-density Bultex foam, dominant density.
Baguette stitching on structure and cushion.
Covers are removable except for leather and microfibres version.
