Harmony and linearity in Dérive2, the rocking chair designed by Pierre Paulin and produced by Ligne Roset.
The reworking of the original design of 1985 provides a structure in painted anthracite wood associated with comfortable padding on the seat and back in polyurethane foam with high density bultex. The seat cushions and back cushions are supported by bands and Velcro removable.
The inclination of the seat, the ergonomic curvature of the backrest with emphasis of lumbar support and headrest area , the round . ed and positioned carefully arms, arise to give maximum comfort.
Commissioned by Claude Pompidou for his friend composer Pierre Boulez on the occasion of his 60th birthday, Dérive 2 takes its name from one of the musical works of the master. At music and harmony are also inspired the shapes of the rocking chair characterized by flowing lines and light, features that make Dérive 2 a design suited to enrich a corner in the living room, to interpret the chair in the bedroom or simply to every place where you want to be lulled inspiration
