Gio Ponti designed the Livia chair in 1937 for the 'livianum' offices of the University of Padua.
This chair remains a timeless piece of high-quality design. The Livia chair remains as modern and stylish as ever thanks to its elegant minimalism. With a solid beech wood frame and multilayer wood seat, the Livia chair is available either dyed or lacquered in a variety of colors.

Gio Ponti (1897-1979) was one of the most influential figures in Italian design and architecture afterworld war II. His work as an industrial and furniture designer, architect, painter and editor for Domus magazine contributed to the renaissance of design in Italy in the 1950s and 1960s.
