MR chair is designed by Mies Van Der Rohe for Knoll with a tubular chrome steel frame and seat in leather straps with leather laces or woven natural cane. The rattan version is available with or without armrests.

 

The iconic MR chair represents one of the early projects (1927) of bent steel furniture designed by the master Mies van der Rohe and is part of the eponymous collection of seats characterized by a curved tubular structure and pure lines. The MR chair is constructed with only two materials - the aluminum frame and the leather or rattan seat - resulting in a chair with timeless charm and unbeatable style.
