Beetle dining chair is designed by Gamfratesi for Gubi with fully upholstered shell in fabric or leather and wooden base available in blackstained beech, oak, smoked oak or American walnut. Piping in black leather, brandy leather or matching fabric.
The fully upholstered chair carries strong references to the design duo GamFratesi's inspirational source; the insect world, more specific the world of beetles. Not just the name indicates their inspiration, but also the characteristic elements of the beetles’ sections have been interpreted - shape, shells, sutures, rigid outside and soft inside.
The BEETLE Chair Collection is a chair series in laminated moulded veneer with seat and back in 2 seperate parts, joined together with a steel fitting milled into the 2 shells.
Also available in the unupholstered version, or seat/front upholstered.
