The base is made of transparent extralight 19 mm. thick glass, shaped and ground with
shiny curved edge, and is composed of two supporting elements, linked to a tie bar by means of satined steel plates.
The extremely thin and light base, obtained through a sophisticated and complex production process, undergoes a special chemical process which ensures solidity and resistance.
