Strata writing desk is designed by Yabu Pushelberg for Glas Italia made of extra light 15mm thick glass with curved glass legs supporting a top with a touch latch (push-pull) drawer, completely covered in tempered glass, lacquered matt or glossy, glued 45°. The bottom of the drawer is in the same glass finish as the desk.
On the top of the desk there is a special casing milled to house cables with the possibility of slotting in a double-faced mirror to transform the desk into a modern make-up desk
In contrast, there is a measured seriousness to this vanity that expresses a respect for the material through its spare-ness of line and profile. A perceived lightness and visual tension was produced with counterbalanced legs, mirroring each other in form, clasping a back-painted glass box drawer between them. Available with or without a square mirror, Strata is chic and modern.
