Lily 3108 chair is designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen with base with four chromed steel tubes and black synthetic ferrules; shell in laminated, form pressed veneer, padded in polyurethane foam with fabric or leather upholstery; shell, foam and textile are bonded with a water-soluble glue.
Lily 3108 is a refined chair, designed in 1968 for the Danish National Bank. It has been the last seat designed by Arne Jacobsen and it was later, in 1970, developed and produced the version with arms.
It is a real icon for design lovers all over the world and it hides an extremely sophisticated moulding process that Jacobsen started to use in 1952 for the Ant and has emproved it up to this last seat designed ensuring its iconic shape and comfort.
