Tara table is designed by Sebastian Herkner for Flexform, featuring a base in through-dyed fibre-reinforced concrete with rock-like inserts. Top in wood veneer or back-painted glass, to match the base. Available in six sizes; tables with a round top can be fitted with a glass lazy susan, comprising a glass sub-top and a swivelling metal base.
Tara table, part of the collection of the same name, stands out for its striking presence, capable of lending character to a space with natural elegance. Inspired by the ancient sacred site of the Irish royal dynasty, it interprets the theme of solidity through a contemporary and refined sensibility.
The concrete base, sculpted into soft, concave shapes, evokes the silent strength of a monolith, lightened by harmonious proportions and an extraordinary tactile quality.
