Getsuen armchair is designed by Masanori Umeda for Edra, featuring a hand-shaped steel frame combined with multilayer wood, a polyurethane foam padding and a velvet upholstery. It is equipped with chrome‑plated steel wheel supports and grey PLT wheels, or alternatively steel and green PLT wheels.
Inspired by the elegance of a flower, the Getsuen armchair captivates with its soft, airy silhouette, evoking the graceful bloom of a lily at its peak. Behind its apparent delicacy lies remarkable craftsmanship: its enveloping shape is achieved by manually modelling a solid steel structure, giving form to an icon of poetic design and technical virtuosity.
