Born in Australia and raised in London, Tom Fereday combines refined artistic sensitivity with a deep respect for materials. After studying sculpture and graphic design at the Wimbledon School of Art, he returned to Australia to complete a degree in Industrial Design at the University of Technology Sydney. In 2012, he founded his own studio, developing a design language that blends craftsmanship, innovation, and authenticity.
Fereday has collaborated with renowned international brands such as Louis Vuitton, Alessi, Stellar Works, and Herman Miller, and his works have been exhibited in prestigious institutions including the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
Guided by the principle of honest design, Tom Fereday explores the dialogue between natural materials and contemporary manufacturing, turning each project into a balance of form, function, and structural transparency. His furniture and objects are born from the belief that beauty lies in the truth of materials and the clarity of design intent, resulting in creations that embody aesthetic purity, integrity, and quiet innovation.
