Pietro Russo was trained in painting and ceramics, before he entered the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Florence, where he studied scenography. Understanding the design process as a research in existing scenic environments, he started exploration in the field of interior and product design. In 2002 he began a long collaboration with the Lissoni Associati, working on product and interior design for companies as Alessi, Cappelini, Benetton, Kartell, Tecno Spa, Kerakoll design gallery.

In 2010 he set up his own practice focusing on interior and product design, characterized by his passion in scenery of interior architectural spaces and recovery of traditional crafts.
