The Herzog & de Meuron is an international architectural founded in Basel in 1978 by Swiss architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron, whom graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich where, since 1994, they work as professors. The architecture studio has received international awards for projects such as the Dominus Winery in the Napa Valley (1998), the Tate Modern in London (2000), the Prada Epicenter in Tokyo (2003) and more recently the Beijing National Stadium (2007)built for the 2008 Olympics.
