The VP8 carpet was designed by Panton Verner between 1959-1960.
With its colorful pattern and its striking optical effect, the VP8 rug is typical of the 1960s.

Verner Panton (1926-1998) was a revolutionary designer known for having introduced Pop Art into interior design. His novel use of materials and colors transpires from the beautiful rugs he designed in the 1960s. They tend to have strong chromatic and geometric juxtapositions.
