Square Round sofa is designed by De Padova with a steel and wood frame with elastic webbing and differentiated‑density polyurethane foam padding wrapped in polyester wadding. Cushions are available either in goose down with a polyurethane support core, or with a seat cushion in memory foam combined with polyurethane foam. The upholstery comes in a fully removable fabric version, or fixed in leather or velvet, and can be finished with piping or a double‑stitch detail.
To mark De Padova’s 70th anniversary, Square Round was created, an evolution of one of the collection’s most iconic symbols: the Square sofa.
The linear rigour of the original design transforms into a fluid, enveloping curve, capable of redefining volumes and proportions with natural elegance. The geometry softens, giving rise to a more contemporary, welcoming and spontaneous comfort.
Square Round retains the balance, build quality and performance that have made Square a benchmark of contemporary design, whilst introducing a new freedom of composition. The curves become design elements that create soft, convivial islands, in constant dialogue with the surrounding space and architecture.
