The Omaggio desk is designed by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance for Ceccotti Collezioni with a structure made of solid American walnut and a drawer unit in veneered plywood. It consists of three drawers in American walnut (the first with a hidden compartment for cables) and a swiveling drawer in bleached maple with internal storage compartments. The top is made of ultra-clear or smoked tempered glass, with a thickness of 12 mm.
Omaggio, designed in 2011 and inspired by the iconic forms of Carlo Mollino's Cavour desk, combines an asymmetrical silhouette with essential lines that emphasize a sense of dynamism. The simplicity of the graphic design allows it to blend harmoniously into any setting, from the most classic to the most contemporary. This simplicity is also reflected in the details, such as the drawer handles, hidden by a cutout in the lower part, and the swiveling mechanism of the second drawer, which adds a touch of liveliness. Finally, the elegant tempered glass top fully reveals the desk’s structure, allowing every single detail to be appreciated.
