The D.R.D.P. two seater sofa is designed by Roberto Lazzeroni for Ceccotti Collezioni with a solid American walnut structure also available with a shellac finish and a multilayer padded seat upholstered in fabric or leather. The tray is made of sandblasted glass with a silver finish.
D.R.D.P., one of Ceccotti Collezioni's most iconic products, is a sofa designed by Roberto Lazzeroni in 1989. The name is an acronym for "double rêve du printemps" - double dream of spring - inspired by a painting by De Chirico. This loveseat represents a fusion of Salvador Dalí's surrealism and the fluid forms of Art Nouveau, reinterpreted in a contemporary style, with an effect of great lightness. The forms are fluid and seem to float, meeting and touching at a central point: the central table. The sofa is based on a complex design and construction techniques, resulting in an iconic piece of furniture with an organic and sculptural appearance.
