Mex C bed is designed by Piero Lissoni for Cassina with frame and headboard padded and covered in removable fabric or non-removable leather. The supporting structure can be disassembled and is in multilayer poplar with an expanded foam core.
Mex is available with an in-built container with a pivot style opening: the opening mechanism gives access to the container area and raises the entire mattress-frame structure to facilitate making the bed.
The headboard cushioning was designed to contain the pillows: this is held up against the top part of the headboard by a roller system.
Mex from the Cassina I Letti collection is a ground level padded bed. It has clean lines but is full of character.
There are bedside tables in stained dark oak, with two compartments that can contain a two-drawer chest of drawers and a small table; these elements can also be used on a standalone basis.
