This remarkably simple and intuitive object follows a ten-year collaboration with the renowned designer and a continuous relationship with the Shiro Kuramata foundation which is dedicated to the research of the artist/designer’s many projects. Designed in 1968, Steel Pipe is a cart where form and function are immediate but distinguished by the refined aesthetics of Shiro Kuramata: it has a clear reference to the curves of the 'Sofa with arms” chair.
