Petit Quack sofa is designed by Giulio Cappellini for Cappellini with medium-density wooden conglomerate panels, solid fir, poplar plywood, padding in multi-density polyurethane foam and fiber, seat cushions in foam and feathers, standard kidney cushions, made of fiber, same cover as the seating element, removable cover in fabric and fixed cover in leather, four plastic legs, rubber feet.
Essential, formal rigour, customization: these are the key words that define the Petit Quack sofa, designed by Giulio Cappellini. The elegant contemporary appeal was studied to provide domestic, hospitality and office settings with a unique character. The Petit Quack system includes sofas – two or three-seaters – and armchairs. In this family of designer furnishings, the wooden base is accompanied by multi-density polyurethane foam padding with seat cushions in foam and feather. In the 2020 edition, these seats feature an additional pad that adds to the comfort and support for the lower back. The upholstery for Petit Quack sofas and armchairs – removable when made of fabric, fixed in leather – is available in a selection that also includes the new seasonal fabrics for 2020, including the timely corduroy.
Trained as an architect in Milan, Giulio Cappellini is an emblematic figure in the international design panorama.
