Orla armchair is designed by Jasper Morrison for Cappellini with frame made of foam with metal frame and elastic belts, padding in multi-density polyurethane foam and fibre. Base (fixed or swivel with or without spring return mechanism, in steel) with medium-density wooden conglomerate panel black matt painted and fixed cover in fabrics and leathers of the collection.
Classic and contemporary stylistic elements define the Orla sofas and armchairs by Jasper Morrison, a masterpiece of contemporary design that has entered the collection of the Tate Modern, in London. Characterized by soft, sinuous lines, slender shells and generous, comfortable cushions, the Orla series is a tasteful addition to both domestic and contract settings. The collection is composed of two and three-seaters, a rounded sofa (right or left), small or larger armchairs (fixed and swivelling), poufs. As of 2019, the family also includes a small two-seat sofa. This series is characterized by a slim thickness shell which contains wide and comfortable seat cushions with a thin but comfortable backrest.
Today, Jasper Morrison lives and works in London and Tokyo and he is considered as one of the most successful industrial designers of the past few decades.
