Fronzoni '64 bed is designed by AG Fronzoni for Cappellini with metal square section tube frame in white or anthracite matt varnished and bedstead with massive covered tulipier slats.
Bed designed in 1964, completely made of matt varnished metal, available in the original white or anthracite colours version.
The perfect emblem of AG Fronzoni’s works, the Fronzoni ’64 bed is a conceptual furnishing piece; a sober and essential encounter of straight lines with spatial planes, where geometry reigns supreme. This bed is made entirely of squared tubular metal, with wooden bed slats. The structure is available in a matte lacquered white or anthracite finish.
An eclectic name in the design and graphics panorama, AG Fronzoni based his aesthetic studies on the elaboration and design of content. Fronzoni’s philosophy can best be summarised by his simple and effective words: “Aim for the essential, eliminate the superfluous, every unnecessary flourish, elaborate a concept based on mathematics, around a fundamental idea, an elementary structure, fiercely avoid waste and excess.” Thus, the elements in the Fronzoni ’64 series are characterized by linear and geometric shapes, a perfect representation of his stylistic signature.
