The 50-year design born at a time when Italy wanted redemption after the war. The design architects (not yet called designer) and the companies created products to inspire hope and good humor to people. Begiojoso, Peressutti and Rogers of B.B.P.R. office designed the armchair Giulietta, with all the characteristics of the arflex production : depth study of the line and absolute comfort, without forgetting the elegance. With this model they won over the cover of the magazine Domus (no. 372 – November 1960).
Arflex with the architect Belgiojoso decides to put in production again the armchair Giulietta, still considered actual, beautiful, comfortable and evergreen. The sinuous line continues and designs the seat and the armrests of the armchair Giulietta, that with its shell in moulded polyurethane foam, lays on the frame in lacquered metal and wood.
