62 desk is designed by Greta M. Grossman for Gubi with American Walnut veneer structure and drawer combined with high-gloss black laminate cabinet and top, knobs in solid American Walnut with a clear lacquer and legs in black powder coated steel.
This desk, together with some containers, is part of the unique "the 62 series", designed in 1952 by Greta M. Grossman and named 62 because they were deemed to be ten years ahead of their time. The characteristic feature of the series are the thin metal legs, resting on small spherical wooden feet, which slender the shape of the furniture; moreover the eccentric line of the 62 desk is emphasized by the asymmetric legs and the elegant combination of materials.
The desk is completed by a cabinet that, behind a door, hides three drawers that offer room necessary to keep in order documents or office accessories.
