Sundial, designed by Studio Front for Porro, is a wall clock that stands out for its pure and essential shape, enhanced by the white color of the metallic surface. The unusual choice made by the designers is that you can read the time through shadows: the twelve numbers are fitted perpendicular to the top and are readable only through their shadows on the surface. This unusual solution provides a double perspective: frontally you can see a parallel lines composition that from the side turns into a superposition of numbers creating optical illusions and a sense of three-dimensionality.
