Adhoc library design by Bruno Fattorini and partners for Zanotta is made with a steel sheet frame painted the shade of white. This composition includes 4 mudules 36x36x148 cm
Adhoc storage system, the outcome of 2 years research on new materials for interior design, is both functional and elegant.
It's made in a material which was originally intended for industrial use: sheet steel reinforced with 15% carbon which has allowed us to work with thicknesses of 1.5 mm.
The Adhoc structure, simple and lineal, conveys a twofold message of solidity and lightness. Constructed in white, epoxy painted sheet steel, the units can be open, or with drawers and doors. The options conceivable with Adhoc are infinite since the units can be placed on the ground or fastened to the wall: from a small bedside unit to a big bookcase, to a drawers unit or even a compact unit for professional work.
Each Adhoc element in terms of colour, material and design is adaptable and practical for countless stylistic contexts. The units can be arranged horizontally or stacked in columns of equal width but, as the Zanotta technical office points out, not over points that are intermediate in regards to the units below. For systems that are two or more units high, all elements must be attached to the wall.
AdHoc will come disassembled with assembling scheme and instructions.
